Tile & Slate Effect

Tile Effect

Tile Effect roof cladding is manufactured from premium quality, PVC coated, galvanised steel. Similar in appearance to the “traditional” concrete roof tile but longer lasting. SkyClad minimise the timber batten support requirement by up to 50% by using 0.7mm thick sheet while increasing the cladding maximum allowable load / strength by 30%. As a result the usual 340mm spacing is increased to 680mm. There are a variety of colours available with the most popular colours being black, brown, terracotta and slate.

It can also be manufactured with or without the application of an anti-condensation barrier. SkyClad’s lightweight properties make Tile Effect ideal for over roofing repairs or flat-to-pitch roof applications. The appearance and low maintenance make it an ideal product for homes, schools, mobile homes, hospitals as well as general extensions and conversions.

Flat Tile Effect

SkyClad’s lightweight properties makes it ideal for over roofing repairs or flat-to-pitch roof conversions and extensions. The appearance and low maintenance make it an ideal product for schools, mobile homes, hospitals, public, domestic, retail buildings and general extensions and conversions.

Flat tile effect sheeting includes the option of an anti-condensation barrier and is available in a range of colours.

Slate Effect

Slate Effect roof cladding is manufactured from 0.7mm heavy gauge, premium quality, galvanised steel. Similar in appearance to the “traditional” quarried slate. Slate Effect roof cladding should be fixed to a solid plywood base as it cannot be applied to cross battens due to the flat nature of the product. This profile is available in any length up to 4 metres and is available in a range of colours.
