Tile Effect roof cladding is manufactured from premium quality, PVC coated, galvanised steel. Similar in appearance to the “traditional” concrete roof tile but longer lasting.
SkyClad minimise the timber batten support requirement by up to 50% by using 0.7mm thick sheet while increasing the cladding maximum allowable load / strength by 30%. As a result the usual 340mm spacing is increased to 680mm. There are a variety of colours available with the most popular colours being black, brown, terracotta and slate.
It can also be manufactured with or without the application of an anti-condensation barrier.
SkyClad’s lightweight properties make Tile Effect ideal for over roofing repairs or flat-to-pitch roof applications. The appearance and low maintenance make it an ideal product for homes, schools, mobile homes, hospitals as well as general extensions and conversions.

Insulated tile effect panels consist of a PIR core sandwiched between a PVC profiled external weather sheet and an internal white profiled liner. The insulation bonds to the steel profiled sheets during the manufacturing process where the insulation and steel form strong, rigid panels with excellent thermal and acoustic performances.
